Why This Company Exists
Getting somewhere on time should not require a backup plan. Too many trips that genuinely matter, a flight, a treatment appointment, a first day at a new job, depend on a ride that may or may not turn up and a driver nobody can name in advance.
DJ Capital Transport was started to remove that uncertainty for people in Tallahassee. You book directly, you get a written confirmation, and there is one company accountable for the result.
Where We Are Today
The company is owner operated. Today that means one owner and driver, which is exactly why every trip is booked in advance rather than dispatched on demand: a promised time is only worth making if it can be kept.
The operating systems behind the company, from booking records through driver screening and vehicle inspection, are built to carry more than one vehicle from the beginning. Growth should never mean rewriting how the business works.
What We Hold Ourselves To
- Safety is not a feature. Driver screening, annual vehicle inspection and a zero tolerance policy on drugs and alcohol are operating standards, not marketing lines.
- On time is the product. We measure ourselves on arrival, not on effort.
- Every passenger is treated the same. Same courtesy, same care, same fare, and never a surcharge for a passenger with a disability.
- Local and accountable. A real company with a real person to talk to when something goes wrong.
- Built to grow without breaking. The tenth vehicle should run exactly like the first.
What We Will Not Claim Yet
Permitting with the City of Tallahassee is in progress. Until each item is genuinely complete we will not describe the company as permitted, licensed, insured or city approved anywhere on this site.
